um...arent they still asking directions if they use the gps?? so if a guy who by that standard is a real man, has a gps then i guess hes cheating.

Maps and gadgets are more than OK, they are very desirable ... it is the act of showing someone else they are lost by "asking" for directions that is not OK.

Then they really don't have to ask for directions. I sometimes do and I don't consider myself less of a man. In fact, I save a lot of time.

We still know how to listen and look.... I would stop and ask, if I was lost, and I had to. Unless I was on that highway in Texas, you know which one Im talking about!

Absolutely! Men hate to admit weakness, but men love their gadgets! Jim has a GPS and he simply adores it..so do I! GPS Good...asking directions Bad! :)

I use GPS frequently, but for different purposes. I use a GPS the way a runner might use a pedometer or a biker might use a cyclometer. The Garmin Forerunner 101 is actually intended for these uses. I also mark my location at intervals.
