he's also talking to prosecutors in many other states. I haven't seen yet what he might be telling them but they appear to be very interested.

I doubt Trump will. He only ever makes deals if it serves his interests. Even if he's facing a slam dunk by the prosecution, he can appeal to his millions of followers by calling the election a sham, accusing the judge of something he makes up off the cuff, and so forth, and it might cause enough public unrest for him to somehow skate away. I've said it before, but there's no way he does any actual hard time.
