I keep a few, but not all. I use a lot of glass jars and if I kept them all I'd just be a pack rat because I could never use them all, even when I'm making jelly.
-
No, we throw them away. We should recycle them in the box we get for glass, but we don't get round to it :l
-
yes i do. they are good to make soups in and to make other things.
-
I keep a few,but most of them go in the trash.
-
nope, but i use the plastic water bottles of 20 ounces a few times before i recycle it
-
Yes, some. I think they are good for storage, and there are some very nice ones around.
-
No,I just don't have the space to do it.
-
yes, we keep most of them for canning.
-
Yes. I have used them for storing small parts in at my workbench. The only problem is: if they are dropped on concrete, you've got a real mess !!
-
i do reuse the glass jars that i can but the others i always recycle.
-
I already have enough glass containers that I don't need the appropriate clutter. I just add them to the recyclables. Who needs a fancy spaghetti container when I already have some of those better airtight "ball" glass jars which have a far superior cap as opposed to any store product's
-
I keep them but I rarely use them. lol I always think I will but I never do.
-
Yes, I fill them with sand from various places in the world!
-
No I would not use them and I don't want them taking up space. They get recycled.
-
Depends on the size of the jar. If not I recycle them'
-
I will reuse them.
-
I am an avid crafter, and I use them to keep craft items in, and I make craft items out of them. I get the most use out of vase size jars, because I can use them with children and paints.
-
A few jars of certain shapes and sizes get kept but I don't save every jar I find like I used to. Then all you have is a jar collection and not useful objects.
-
I do when I need them to hold some things or to store food in the fridge from time to time.
-
Yes. But only a select few. I recycle the rest so I don't become a pack rat.
-
I save them and use them to store dry good such as raisins, pasta, dried beans. I also use them to store leftovers in the fridge. A great way to save money I used to spend on ziploc bags and tupperware!
-
yes, I re use them: I use them at home for food storage instead of tupperware, and when I give give food as a gift I put it in a glass jar...I make a lot of different foods and give as gifts for Christmas...salad dressing, bbq sauce, marinades, soup, etc. I also freeze food in them.
-
I reuse a few over and over, the rest I recycle.
-
I reuse a lot of them but not all of them. The ones I dont reuse I recycle.
-
I save some of them. If its a large jar, I might place rice or pasta in them. Smaller jars can be reused for homemade jams. Also to store beads, buttons and fabric trims. I keep some aside for when I need to clean paintbrushes for watercolours.
-
I keep about half a dozen. The rest I recycle.
