How do I trace a hacker who installed unwanted software onto my system?

First, read the alert log from your firewall program, then copy the IP address of the suspicious pinger. Go to www.geektools.com and paste that IP address into the box. Geektools will then backtrace as far as possible, at least to the ISP of the hacker. Good luck!
