Your question does not make sense as it appears improperly worded. I'm going to assume you mean there was a memory card plugged into one of the two systems interconnected via a router. If said virus was on the memory card and was executed/ran on the machine the memory card was plugged into BY the machine the memory card was plugged into (and then spread via a network vulnerability or share on the second machine) or by the other machine via a shared network resource it is possible that a virus would have been transmitted this way.
