I own more than I probably should. I have a room that I simply call the "gun room", I have collected swords for 2 decades and I have a full array of Martial Arts equipment and weapons. I have been trained with all of them and I keep them out of reach of anyone that doesn't understand them, but for the most part, they are a vanity.

Everyone does. I don't know of a single person that doesn't own at least a brain. And most have fists, feet, knees and elbows. Most have knives, electrical appliances, electrical cords, rope, and even poison of some sort. My crochet hook, a pencil, pen or even a stick can be used as a kubotan, a broomstick can be used as a staff and even a pot of hot grits or oil can do serious damage. I keep an old metal table leg and a set of knitting needles near the door for easy access. Everyone has weapons.
