No, we have no other heat usually, than a wood stove. So we stoke up the fire, add as many logs as we can fit in there and then close the damper and the vent as much as we dare.

Not in the wintertime keithold! Winters are very cold here in Montana. Not a chance of not having it on. . Like right now it is -15 degrees outside and with the windchill it is -20 degrees. Our HIGH for tomorrow is 1 degree! Burrrrrrrr! . They should call my town, Antartica! lol +5 keithold!
